3 Reasons I Love My New Audio Tower

Posted in Home Accessories

After years of wanting to install a home theater, my wish finally came through last winter. I was able to purchase the television and audio system of my dreams, and I also bought some pretty comfortable seating to make the whole experience even more enjoyable. Although I spent quite a bit of time deciding between a couple of different televisions and related components, I hadn’t given as much thought to where I would place these components. In the past I had simply stacked them in the corner of the room, though I certainly wanted to avoid that this time around. What I ended up with was an audio tower, which allowed me to safely store and organize my components while also making my theater room look neat and professional.

Though I hadn’t been familiar with audio towers prior to purchasing this one, I was able to learn quite a bit about their benefits through an online audio/video forum. After using one for about 6 months, I can confidently confirm the following benefits –

•    Provides Safe Storage – I never quite felt right about stacking my sensitive A/V components in the past due to the potential for overheating. Using an audio tower allows me to safely store my components without worry.
•    Looks Great – the tower I purchased integrated seamlessly with the other items in my home theater. Taking the time to carefully evaluate the different options definitely paid off for me.
•    Provides Power and Cable Management – on the recommendation of some people I met through an online forum, I decided to purchase my tower through a retailer of high-end audio accessories. This allowed me to purchase a tower that was integrated with a power and cable management system.

If you’re thinking of setting up a home theater or even if you’re just looking for a storage solution for some existing components, you would be a fool not to consider an audio tower. With so many different options to choose from, finding the perfect audio tower is just a matter of doing a bit of research.
