For those who like to find a bargain you could compare the price of the cheap Black & Decker RC3303 rice cooker at a variety of vendors. It is unlikely you will see much of a difference as this rice cooker is already clearly one of the cheapest around. It can be found for well under $20. This makes it easily affordable for many of us.
It is a very basic rice cooker but if you just want an appliance that is easy to use and does not have any fancy options, then this may be the one for you. It has a straight forward on and off switch for its cooking operation. As with any rice cooker, the most important part for the user to do is to measure out an appropriate amount of rice to make. This is not all that much but is enough to feed up to about five people. So unless you have a large family, this may well be perfect for your needs. Once you have measured out the amount of rice that you want to cook the next step is to wash it. This is pretty easy. You just add some water and then gently swirl the rice around until some of the starchy coating comes of and dissolves in the water. You will see the water begin to turn a milky white color. Just drain this off and repeat a few times. Then your rice will be ready for cooking. If you are making, say two cups, you just have to add water up the the level 2 mark on the inner cooking bowl. This is the exact amount needed for the Black & Decker RC3303 to cook your rice. This is not a top of the range machine but it surely is a cheap rice cooker.
