Get your kitchen organized quick!
The kitchen, to me is one of the most sacred places in my home. This isn’t just because that is where I prepare meals for my family and myself but it is also the room I spend most of my time in. As a mother of three, you soon find out how important the kitchen is to you and your family. Since I like to keep my kids close by, I also ensure that I have certain play areas set up inside the kitchen itself — away from the stove and protected by a play pen. It is this extremely important that I have my kitchen done up in a certain way that is organized and clean, not to mention a pleasure to use. I use clear plastic baskets and boxes to organize most of the things in my home. These work better than the normal plastic boxes that everyone tends to use as you can see through them, just like the name says. This means that you don’t have to worry about labeling them or having to work up the effort to get other things like categorization done.
Since all the condiments and spices that you use will be stacked up in clear plastic bins, you can easily pick up whatever you need without having to rummage through tons of boxes. If you are looking to organize your whole kitchen though, then I would also suggest you look at getting a couple of plastic drawer inserts for your kitchen drawers as it makes storing, organizing and sorting through small knick-knacks like spoons, forks and knives a breeze. Other things that you may consider are a plastic fruit basket as well as utensils made out of food grade plastic if you have younger children. Make sure they say Made in U.S.A though as different countries have different standards of food grade plastics.
