The off-the-beaten path rooms of a home are often the most interesting, these rooms are for the family, and the public is rarely invited. Here the family can relax amongst their favorite things, and live in their favorite style. They do not have to impress anyone. The bedroom is such a room. This is where the family can keep their favorite furniture.

A well-decorated room like the bedroom is best when it is clean and well-coordinated. In order for you to do this, you need to select pieces that match each other. While they may be different items but they should belong together, like small pieces in a puzzle. In a fabric matching bedroom – king quilt usually determines the theme of the room because it hasĀ  the widest area in the room.

Some people don’t like matching colors and so what you can do is to pick at least 3 colors from your bed sheet and work with that. If you got fuchsia, yellow and green colors, then you could buy accessories for your bedroom, little by little with those three in mind. Add a curtain in stripes, the fabric covering for bedside portable end tables in floral, and the lampshades could be in solid color. Matching prints is easier if there is a color guide.

Make sure that your spare bed sheets and fabric covering for bedside end tables, also match the ones that you have now. That way, if your guests need an extra blanket or pillow case, they would still go with the rest of your bedroom.

You can also add other textures into your room. For example you can match wooden furniture with metal hardware like your coat hanger, or cabinet door handles. Taking small details like these add to the finishing touches.

Having a fabric matching bedroom which is based at the beginning on the king quilt fabric is easy as long as you focus on one design or color scheme at a time.
