Most toys come in square plastic containers and those are great for small toy cars, army men, legos and even crayons. Before you throw away the box take a look at it and determine if it is sturdy enough to hold other toys.
Another inexpensive way to store toys is by using empty containers you have laying around the house. Plastic boxes are perfect for toys because they are durable and most times you can easily see through them so you can identify what they are. You can always use tape to label each container so you know exactly what is inside. You can use them for craft supplies, play-doh, stickers, figurines and any other items your child has laying around.
