There are many different types of reclosable bags ranging from the zipper type plastic bags to bags with a string that pulls the top shut tight. By far the most popular type of reclosable bag is the zipper plastic bag. These are used for storing many different things ranging from home and household items, to food, to almost anything that ever goes into a plastic bag. A relatively modern invention, they are now so prevalent that people wonder how they ever did without them.

Boxes or containers need a specific amount of space and they often take up extra space especially if they are not full. Plastic bags will fit in all sorts of nooks and crannies and there is no ‘extra’ storage space required.
When it comes to space saving organizational aids, you really cannot go wrong with using reclosable bags. They are cheap, easy to pack away and they are great for seeing at a glance what is stored where.
